In my constant researching about lace, including how it was created and how it was used over time, I am often encountering images of lace fans in museum collections, typically from the 18th and 19th centuries. I decided it was time to add a lace fan to my lace series of cross stitch designs!
Model stitched on 36 count Delft Blue linen from Weeks Dye Works using DMC Blanc Floche and floss (2 strands of DMC floss can substitute for the Floche)
