This design was inspired by my collection of antique samplers, and several of the motifs were lovingly pulled from those treasured pieces. I wanted to capture that same timeless charm— simple motifs, a glorious red house, and a message that feels both comforting and enduring. The verse spoke to me: “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart… So don’t be troubled or afraid.” In a world that often feels loud and uncertain, I wanted this sampler to serve as a gentle reminder of the peace that cannot be taken away—the kind that settles the heart and steadies the mind. My hope is that as you stitch these words, you feel that same calming reassurance.
