Screen Door Needleworks
This is a personal favorite of mine. This colorful sampler was stitched by Sarah Brooks in 1788. As I stitched I could hardly put it down wanting to see the next beautiful color that would be added.
The model was stitched 1 over 2 on 48 count Bride Cake Legacy linen using 100.3 silks in the colors: 073, 077, 129, 196, 241, 242, 244, 562, 568, and 648.
The stitch count is 41x123
